Who we are
We are a parent-centered advocacy and consulting service dedicated to helping families navigate special education with clarity, confidence, and compassion.
Founded by an experienced educator, school leader, and parent of a child with an IEP, we bring a rare blend of professional expertise and personal experience. We’ve sat on both sides of the table—leading IEP teams, analyzing data, and coaching teachers—and we’ve also been the parent in the meeting, fighting to ensure a child’s needs were seen, understood, and met.
We specialize in supporting families of children in kindergarten through middle school.
Whether you're just getting started or feeling stuck in the process, we’re here to help you ask the right questions, understand your rights, and build a strong partnership with your child’s school.
We believe:
Every child deserves access to the supports they need to thrive.
Parents deserve to be heard, informed, and empowered.
Collaboration—not conflict—is the key to student success.
You don’t have to figure this out alone. We walk beside you—because we’ve been there too.
What we Believe
Collaboration Begins with Trust
We believe that meaningful partnerships are rooted in trust and mutual respect. Most educators, parents, and service providers are doing their best with the knowledge and resources they have. Our work is grounded in the belief that progress happens when we approach each other as partners—not opponents.
Advocacy Matters
Advocating for your child isn’t always easy—it takes time, energy, and persistence. It can be frustrating, and some families feel pushed to leave the public school system altogether. But we believe the effort is worth it. When families advocate with knowledge and support, real change is possible—and every child deserves access to the education they are entitled to..
Grounded in Realistic Expectations
Every school, family, and child is navigating unique circumstances. While we always advocate for high-quality support, we also recognize the real-world limitations of time, staffing, and resources. Our goal is to find solutions that are both meaningful and feasible—so children can thrive in the environments they’re in.
Every Child Can Thrive
All children have the ability to learn, grow, and succeed—when given the right support. Every student deserves a learning environment where they feel valued, understood, and capable, whether that’s in a public school, non-public placement, private setting, or an alternative educational path.
